Spec-wise, it’s on par with Hitachi, Samsung, Western Digital, and Fujitsu and makes 9.5-mm high, 2.5-inch, 250GB disks spinning at 5,400RPM near ubiquitous. Seagate’s explanation for coming so late to the party? Easy, now is simply the right time.
